Sunday's Football

Just the one game on Sunday this week, with Sunderland travelling to West Ham. Bloody long journey, the only consolition being pretty much none of their players being on International duty. The onlt one that was scored a own goal. Coincidence- I think not. Well I say that but apparantly it was pretty unlucky. I haven't actually seen the highlights of this game so I don't know but both the radio and paper said it was unfortuanate and I'll take their word for it. Apparantly it was an unlucky day for the Black Cats with them dominating the second half but ultimately losing. I wouldn't really care that much, but Roy Keane is the biggest legend to have ever put on a football shirt. I love that man (not in a homosexual way).

Back to the game the Hammers ended up winning 3-1 courtesy of goals from Craig Bellamy (alright), Craig Gorden's own-goal (diasappointing) and Carlton Cole (laughable). Not a good day for Sunderland and to make matters worse Newcastle will probably beat Spurs tonight. Expect plently of fights up in the North East over the coming days.
